Lowel Blenders were used heavily in Christopher Wilkinson's new documentary on the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. This quote from the story in HD Video PRO may be the reason Blenders were selected. "Although they wanted the film to look both elegant and beautiful, according to the DP, his discussions with Wilkinson were minimal and more about technical and practical issues. "It was going to be no crew, no time, no lighting, no preparation and virtually no scouting," he says. "Just grab stuff, squeeze it, and get everything out of it that we could. And that's what we did."
