    WHEN: Saturday, August 24, 2024, 10:00am to 1:00pm, EST
All Directors and Cinematographers know that how you frame a moment in a scene subliminally telegraphs things to the viewer. Use the framing to help tell the story and make sure that the framing you are doing doesn’t unintentionally conflict with the emotional or dramatic intent of the scene.

This workshop is for camera operators, cinematographers, and directors who are looking to refine their framing skills using ARRI camera systems. It’s also highly beneficial for film students and aspiring filmmakers who want to gain hands-on experience with industry-standard camera equipment. This workshop will be invaluable for anyone in the film and television industry aiming to understand the intricacies of composition and framing to enhance visual storytelling. Additionally, gaffers and production designers could also find this workshop useful to better understand how camera framing impacts set design and lighting.
