Unlock the Future of Storytelling with Anthony Sturmas
Are you curious about how artificial intelligence can enhance, but never replace, the magic of human creativity? Then don’t miss this must-attend webinar, “AI, Storyboards, and Human Creativity: Where Technology and Imagination Connect,” featuring celebrated artist and storyteller Anthony Sturmas. Hosted by StudentFilmmakers.com, this engaging event will take place on October 11, 2024, at 2 PM (NYC Time) on Zoom.
In this exclusive webinar, Anthony Sturmas will explore how AI is reshaping visual storytelling, offering fresh ways to generate key frames and concepts. But while AI can assist in the creative process, Sturmas will emphasize that the detailed, nuanced work of a storyboard artist remains irreplaceable. With a career spanning from graffiti art in Los Angeles to over 70 film credits in Hollywood, Sturmas combines traditional artistry with cutting-edge technology to create stunning visual narratives.
Attendees will also get a behind-the-scenes look at his current collaboration with Desperado actor Robert Arevalo on the film Bautista, showcasing how human creativity continues to push boundaries in the world of filmmaking.
Anthony Sturmas started as a graffiti artist in Los Angeles and Long Beach in the 1980s. His passion for street art led him into the world of comics and storytelling, earning him a Marvel Comics Scholarship to The Kubert School. Instead of pursuing it, Sturmas chose to stay in California, making his mark as a muralist in Los Angeles while building connections with Hollywood studios.
He earned a BFS in Multimedia Animation from The Art Institute of Los Angeles and received formal training from the prestigious Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Today, with over 70 film credits and an impressive range of storytelling experience, Sturmas continues to push creative boundaries, most recently working on the film Bautista with Desperado actor Robert Arevalo.
This webinar is ideal for filmmakers, animators, illustrators, and anyone eager to see how AI can elevate and enrich the creative process—without losing the essential human touch. Whether you’re an industry veteran or just getting started, you’ll leave with fresh insights and practical tips to apply to your work.
